It makes sense why they want to give up their powers, they want to be normal little girls.

Then, the girls sing about giving up their powers. The gnome tells them (Or in this case, sings to them) that he can bring peace to Townsville unless the girls give up their powers. The gnome is voiced by Jess Harnell? The voice of Wakko from Animaniacs and the recent voice of Crash Bandicoot? Wow, he sings really good. The gnome is the best singer in the episode. A magical raindrop grows a magic plant where a gnome is hiding in the pedals. Buttercup: (Singing) 'I wish of a day where there is love on earth.' Wait, did Buttercup just said that? The tough one, the one who easily gets upset wishes for love on earth?! Oh ok. After their defeat, they wish for peace on earth. After the song is over, the girls come to fight them, however they get beat up by the bad guys and are pretty much defeated. The rest of the characters in this song are passable. However, Princess and a singing baby are off-key. The first song 'Townsville's Going Down' is decent. Here's what i think about it: It starts with Mojo Jojo replacing the narrator for saying 'The City of Townsville' It suddenly turns into a musical. Some people don't like it and some people like it. When some people managed to watch that episode, it was mixed. It was banned because of one scene where there are bright red and white flash lights, the crew at Cartoon Network were afraid that it might cause seizures like that infamous Pokémon episode that 685 japanese kids got hospitalized by having seizures or something. See Me Feel Me Gnomey was only familiar for being banned. The original Powerpuff Girls is one of my favorite shows on Cartoon Network.
